Among Florida’s Best
11/09/2025
BlueWind was one of two finalists in the 2025 Coolest Thing Made in Florida competition, the most competitive and prestigious recognition in the state’s manufacturing industry.
Among hundreds of nominated companies and more than 400,000 votes cast, reaching the Top 2 is an achievement that speaks volumes about the strength and purpose behind what we do here.
“Being a finalist in this award goes far beyond the product we build; it’s about the people who build this story with us. Our Second Chance Employment program shows that innovation and inclusion go hand in hand. Representing this model at the Future of Florida Forum was an honor and an opportunity to show how manufacturing can transform lives and move Florida forward,” said Henry Kelley, Strategy Director of BlueWind.
The Florida Chamber of Commerce organizes the award, which celebrates the creativity, talent, and economic impact of products made in Florida.
The initiative highlights the vital role of local manufacturers in creating jobs, advancing technology, and driving progress toward the Florida 2030 Blueprint, a plan to position the state among the top five manufacturing hubs in the U.S. by the end of the decade.
First place went to Chromalloy, based in Palm Beach Gardens. The company manufactures jet engine turbine blades, some of the most complex and advanced components in the aerospace industry. An impressive achievement that deserves our full recognition.
